"Those in charge" of selecting new coaches at the University of Maine -- also known as Coach U. because of the quality of the coaches that have cut their teeth up north and then moved on (McCallie, Versyp) -- may have stumbled in their last selection. Coach Ann McInerney has resigned after only two seasons.
